Training alone won't help a community recover. It also takes resources.
CWS provides emergency support grants to help new long-term recovery groups with start-up costs. These small cash grants could
be used to help cover equipment, short-term salaries or facilities. Sometimes
a long-term recovery group identifies a need that can help an entire community. CWS examines proposals for project development
on a case-by-case basis. Past examples of projects have included emergency support for community food banks, procurement of
